Using Redacted
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the public Redacted website and the private Redacted creator workspace operated by We Are Elixir Studio Ltd. Separate creator, campaign, representation or other written agreements may also apply to you.
1. Who we are
Redacted is a creator agency and creator-support service operated by We Are Elixir Studio Ltd.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to use of redacted.weareelixir.co.uk, including public pages and the private workspace. They do not replace any separate signed agreement governing creator representation, campaigns, payments, commercial services or other specific arrangements.
3. Eligibility and access
Redacted creator membership is intended for people aged 18 or over. Private workspace access is only for people who have been given an authorised account by Redacted.
You must provide accurate information, use your own account, and tell us promptly if information relevant to your account or eligibility changes.
4. Your account and security
- Keep your password confidential and do not share access with anyone else.
- Use a strong password that you do not reuse on unrelated services.
- Tell the Redacted team promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- Do not attempt to access another user’s account, restricted management functions, private records or systems you are not authorised to use.
We may require a password reset, suspend a session or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or our systems.
5. Acceptable use
You must use Redacted lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- interfere with, probe, damage, overload or attempt to bypass the security of the website or its connected services;
- upload, submit or distribute malicious code, unlawful content or content that infringes another person’s rights;
- scrape, copy, export or disclose private member, creator, staff, campaign or operational information except where you are authorised to do so;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
- use private workspace information to harass, exploit, discriminate against or harm another person; or
- use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose.
6. Creator tools and operational information
Redacted may provide tools for profiles, borders, battles, events, one-to-one appointments, campaigns, manager rotations, check-ins, onboarding, sticker-book features, LIVE monitoring and other creator operations. Availability and features may change as the service develops.
Dates, availability, campaign opportunities, event information, external-platform status and other operational information can change. You should check important details before relying on them and follow any direct instructions from the authorised Redacted team.
7. No guarantee of results or opportunities
Redacted provides creator support and operational tools, but use of the website does not guarantee follower growth, earnings, campaign selection, brand work, battle availability, platform performance, audience growth or any particular commercial result. Any specific commitments in a separate signed agreement remain subject to that agreement.
8. Third-party services
Some features connect or link to third-party services such as TikTok, Discord and Google Calendar. Those services have their own terms, privacy practices, availability and technical rules. We are not responsible for changes, outages, moderation decisions or restrictions controlled by a third-party platform, although we will take reasonable steps to operate our own integrations responsibly.
9. Content and intellectual property
The Redacted name, website design, software, graphics, documents and other materials we provide are owned by or licensed to We Are Elixir Studio Ltd unless stated otherwise. You may use them for the purpose they are provided for, but you may not copy, sell, redistribute or commercially exploit them without permission except where the law allows.
You retain ownership of content you already own. Where you intentionally provide content or information through Redacted for a service, you give us the limited rights reasonably necessary to receive, store, process and use it to provide that service, administer the creator relationship and meet our legal obligations. Separate campaign or creator agreements may contain additional content rights.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information. Do not place unnecessary sensitive information, private DMs, evidence or confidential third-party information into routine free-text fields unless an authorised process specifically requires it.
11. Suspension and ending access
We may suspend or end website access where reasonably necessary because of a security risk, serious or repeated breach of these terms, loss of eligibility, misuse of private information, legal or regulatory requirements, or the end of the relevant creator or staff relationship. Where appropriate, we will take the circumstances into account before doing so.
Ending website access does not automatically end or change rights and obligations under a separate signed agreement unless that agreement says so.
12. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep Redacted useful and available, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, update, replace, restrict or retire features where reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance or service development.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by third-party platforms, events outside our reasonable control, or use of Redacted in breach of these terms. If you use Redacted as a consumer, your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when Redacted changes or when legal, security or operational requirements change. The current version will always show its effective date. If a change materially affects private users’ rights or obligations, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to their attention.
15. Governing law
These terms and any non-contractual dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts that have jurisdiction will be determined by applicable law, including any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
